Diver FAQ

Q. I haven't been diving for a while, how do I know when I need to take a refresher course?

A. If you are wondering, then you need a refresher.

In general, if it has been a year or more since you have been diving you should take a refresher before you go diving again. If you are feeling a little nervous about your up coming dive trip, take a refresher. If you only have a few dives (10-20) and have not been diving for more than six months, take a refresher. If you aren't sure you remember how to work your tables, take a refresher. In short, when in doubt, take a refresher.

A refresher can greatly enhance the safety and enjoyment of your diving, so make some time and keep your self up to date.

(We offer FREE life time refreshers to all the divers we certify because we feel it is a very important part of continuing diver education.)
