Divers head to La Paz for the marine mammals and chance encounters with BIG fish. In the beautiful waters of the Sea of Cortez you can enjoy diverse sea life, dive with adorable and playful California sea lions, explore ship wrecks and may even get to see elegant pacific manta rays or hammerhead sharks! We will stay at the Hotel Los Arcos, which located two blocks south of downtown La Paz facing La Paz Bay on the Malecon. After diving you can stroll along cobblestone sidewalks to see historical Mediterranean architecture and purchase handmade goods from local craftsmen, or sample local delicacies such as prawn cakes and lobster. For those so inclined, La Paz offers a lively nightlife from restaurants to discos with a Latin flair and even movies. Trip price includes: housing in Los Arcos Hotel, airport-hotel transfer (transfers from Cabo are $40.00 additional), hotel-vessel transfer, all lunches and beverages (non-alcoholic) during dive trips, weights and weightbelt, 2 tanks per day, park fees, beach time.
